Jen (she/they)
Manager
"Hi! I'm Jenny and I'm so excited to be at Happy Hounds! I have been an animal lover for my whole life; I'm vegan and have a pitbull at home named Hugh, as well as a flock of chickens and ducks. I have been lucky enough to work with adults with disabilities for the last 6 years and am so excited to see that overlap with my love of animal friends!! I believe both folks with disabilities AND animals have a lot to teach us about care, friendship, responsibility, and learning together. I'm passionate about radical acceptance and making space for EVERYONE in our community, and I love learning together so we can all do better."
Damon (he/him)
Assistant Manager
Hello, my name is Damon and I’m the assistant manager here at Happy Hounds. I am married, have one daughter and two 4-legged furry kids, boxers Jax & Bella. My past employment has been with a home medical and mobility equipment company and in the manufacturing field. Due to a life changing accident in 2017, I decided to change my career path to something more enjoyable which includes helping people and working with animals. Here at Happy Hounds I have the opportunity to do both. With a unique facility that empowers young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities and vocational training. As a father with a daughter who is blind, I know the importance of employment opportunities in our community for these young adults.
